My 9800 doesn't have docuing pins- only a micro USB, yet it is sitting in it's docking cradle showing the clock. Just because there are no pins doesn't mean it wont have a docking cradle of some kind.

The back material of the white q10 looks just like the white z10...hope this isn't the case for the final version.

There are white glass weave covers. Don't know if they will be released that way in production, but they exist.

The white Z10 (and most likely the white Q10) use different material for the back cover versus the black versions because if it was soft rubber, it would just smudge everything into it's body. If you're going to go with the white device, it's better that they've gone with the more plastic cover.

What really concerns me is that the white one appears to not have the same weaved glass and instead opts for plastic (like the Z10). Will it have the same reception performance? I guess we will find out soon enough.

Yes I think you are correct unless we are just seeing pre-production examples. I do not like the silver band around it... too much Iphone circa 2007 ( but in this I am likely in the minority ) . I like the all black version better. I don't see how the back that can effect the antenna. I think the antenna is in the bottom front ( possibly).

I hope it's similar to the Black Q10... that's a problem i had with the Z10, the black Z10 has a nice feel to it, while the white isn't as soft to the touch. Just my opinion/preference. But I badly want to get the Q10 in white.

The physical design has been set ! Although there are many minor and major complaints about the Z10 problems with swiping motion is not mentioned to any great degree.

Dammit, no bottom view. Can't tell if it has charging pins or not.

If you look closely at the bottom in the side views, looks like they could have charging leads. There little metal strips on both sides. I'm thinking it may be there.

I guess time will tell.

At least the presentation devices at launch didn't have any.. I fear the classic docking station will most likely be a thing of the past.
