Hi BBIANS, does any of you experience random complete shutdown? I'm using 10.2.1.3247 os version and even the previous version has same problem but that is restarting now it's complete shutdown. Please help me rectify or confirm if this is a common problem!

    Cheers!

Does this happen repeatedly, or was it a random event?

It's happened to me a couple times. Usually If I remember correctly it was after an OS update (always the official one from Rogers). Not since then. It randomly rebooted. I'm guessing it's settling or something that needed to happen :s

Try re-loading the software through Blackberry link and see if it helps?

If you just installed a new software, like I have, which was the official verizon release, then I think your fine. Give it a few days for everything to sync.. contacts - calendars - social accounts etc.. I don't know why BlackBerry has this problem after every update. However, there's always a small price to pay for a great phone.

I've been facing it almost every other day in a week and sometime after using and I slip it in my pocket without realising it's off! Till I check my phone! It is frustrating especially when it's urgent! Agggghhhh and its always the official updates no fancy android apps or leak updates!

No such problem here, it's been almost a week, I haven't started my Q10, never faced such issue. Maybe as the others said, try to install a fresh firmware.

    Goodluck!

I heard that when the Q10 gets hot after awhile some of the components inside that are glued start to come loose!
