Why do some q10's have a blue start up screen and my white q10 has a purple that goes to pink while loading screen on start up

I have two Q10s. My at&t branded model has the pinkish purple loading symbol; my unbranded device has the blue symbol.

Are they both running the same version of BB10? I remember reading that they'd changed it in a recent update, or possibly just one of the leaks. If you're running the same one on both that squashes that theory.

I'm pretty sure all Q10s have a pink/purple startup logo. They are the exception as all other BB10 devices include Q5s are blue.

Btw, I am a pretty manly man (hehe) but I actually like the pink/purple startup over the blue one. I don't know why. It just looks nicer, less dull, less boring to me.

When I got my Q10 the default OS was 10.1, the startup was pink/purple. After 10.2 it was blue. So I assume there's a build somewhere on 10.2 when the switch happened.

Hahaha I never knew there was a blue logo until I asked I saw a guy that changed his bezel on CB10 and his start up was blue! So thus me asking this question

So weird. My Q10 is on OS version 10.2.1.2141. It's purple on startup.

For those who have never seen the purple one. It looks almost blue and then pink in these photos. Very difficult to get colours right sometimes.

My AT&T Q10 is also pink/purple. Wish I could have it blue though, don't like pink/purple at all. Luckily I don't have to do battery pulls or restart very often on BB10 though.

Originally, they were both running the same version. For the moment, my at&t branded one is still on 10.1, as I have not taken the time to download and install 10.2.1 (with an auto loader). The unbranded device is on 10.2.1 and the logo screen has remained blue. I was always under the impression that the purple startup had something to do with at&t. I guess the mystery continues.

I think the color of the logo depends on what model it is. Mine is the SQ100-1 on AT&T (using a Rogers 10.2.1.537) and the logo is purple (it was also purple on AT&T's 10.1.0.2030).
