    Absolutely it can't support China Unicom FD-Lte 4G (band 1&3). -5 lacks of these bands.

    Unicom has a band 1 FD-LTE network too? Is this in bigger cities/tourist destinations only, and if so do you know which ones?

    Licence for FDD band 1 was just issued to Unicom less than two moths ago. Therefore, there will be only 4G signal of FDD band 3 in a short period of time for Unicom.
