So today, plugged in my Q10 to do my first weekly back up, and I noticed already a software update is available. BlackBerry Link is different from the Desktop software, so not sure if this is a leak or an official version, as it doesn't give any detail. Anyone else seeing this update and have any information on what it may be? I am on Bell in Canada btw.

If the update is a few MB, it's just a "core" app that you deleted.

Does not say, but I assume if no one else has seen it yet, it is like andrew4life above stated, probably a core app, which was deleted.

I'm having the same issue with my BlackBerry Link yyzkevin. The software is really laggy and it doesn't even connect to my week old Q10.

Got the same update for mine last night. Same OS version that's already running as you said. I can't wait for a real update with bug fixes. The leaked version looks good, but I'm not going down that road.

Any idea when/if there will be a update for bugs in the near future?

I am not getting any update here. As suggested earlier, don't delete any stock apps, just move them to a folder.

Even though its the same software update, did anyone go through with it, just to clear it from the Link system?

This is what i saw when i installed link on my work desktop and plugged in my Roger's Q10 already running 238. It's not giving any size detail. I haven't shrunk anything from the OS. I've only had it running for 3 days and it's bone stock, so stock I cry (Other than the three radio apps, every app i download is nothing but disappointment).

I have the same problem. Tried to do the update anyway but BlackBerry link takes ages to download it. Waited 5 minutes and I did not even see the download progress bar so gave up

+1, same issue for a couple days now. Prompted for the .238 update, I do it, looks ok. Then, plug into Link and get prompted for .238 again, rinse & repeat.

I may or may not have removed a core app, I don't recall but... if that's the issue, how do I know what I deleted and how do I get it back on so I can end the cycle?

I'm having the same issue. BlackBerry Link keeps telling me there is a software update .238 I download seems fine. But when I reconnect to Link gives me update again??

So what actually is "new" in the update. I get a blackberry coloured screen saver but thats about all as far as I can see

Hi Guys,

I just updated my q10 via the link software, but now when the phone reboots it is stuck on the 100% progress bar and does not move!!!
I took out the battery but to no avail and blackberry link does not pick the phone up at all please help???

I'm still having this problem, I'm stuck on .238 and bb link keeps proposing update to .238... Did you solve this problem? I just reinstalled the operating system and nothing changed
