My earphone jacked died, but I replaced it. It was fairly simple swapping out the parts, but I think I almost stripped the two tiny screws that hold the top casing. Anyway to get replacement screws? I doubt my local hardware store carries them.

Can't say for sure, but I've had pretty good luck with the 99 cent bundles of iPhone screws from eBay. I managed to put a z10 (which I bought as a basket case -- a bunch of parts in a box) together with iPhone screws.

I also ended up with stripped screws when I got my phone back from the warranty repair.


I called local phone repair shops asking how mich they would charge for getting the screw out and getting the new ones in.

To my surprise, they did not charge me any money for the new screws.

So try the local repair shops, you might be surprised to see that you could get the screws in for free from your local shops.

I have been without those screws for a year now... I should probably fix it though
