My USB port is done for. It's been loose for awhile but now it's difficult to get a charge and seems like it might be impossible to transfer data. I upgraded to a Classic today, but I have calendar entries, notes and text messages I would really like to move over. While I can get a bit of a charge through the USB connection and Link can see the phone, it cannot seem to get the files. I would love any ideas! I tried cleaning out the port but there really wasn't anything in it. I suspect the connection problem is a little deeper.

Use Ultimate Backup in the Q10 to backup the data in a SD card. Pop the SD in the Classic and restore the data using Ultimate Backup. You can do the same through the cloud.

Alternatively, you can also use the app Device Switch to transfer the data through WiFi or SD. Device Switch Is a free app from BlackBerry World.
