    Hey guys

I just bought the Q10 and I absolutely love it.
Just wondering though, how does the Q10 age? Does it still perform great after 6 months? Or even a year?

    Thanks!!

I've had mine for 5 months and it's still going strong as day 1. To be honest, I think my battery life is better than it used to be.

I've had mine since release day in Canada, it hasn't missed a beat. I am on this thing all day, it gets really hot sometimes but doesn't affect it. Sure not like the old ones!

I have a Black and White Q10. I'll be keeping one and upgrading the other to the next qwerty BlackBerry, in all likelihood.

It's hands down one of the most consistently reliable phones I've ever used. No performance drop whatsoever on my Q10 after almost a year.

Performance is still as on day one for me. And I am a really heavy user at the moment. Best workhorse ever for me.

I've had mine since mid-June and as long as you delete your text messages every once in a while, it will still be snappy.

I'm a really heavy user and I must tell you that I have seen it slow down just A LITTLE BIT, it's hardly noticeable, and that may be because I've got tons of apps and I never clear the active frames nor messages... This is the best phone I've had, even after almost a year it's really snappy, you won't regret your purchase at all!

I've had my Q10 since the end of June and it is still performing just as well as it did on day one. Granted, I do wipes of my device for one reason or another (generally after loading a new OS) and will be too impatient to wait for the backup to load, so my Q10 gets a good dumping every now and then.

You are talking about the only keyboard phone in the world with Miracast, and LTE capabilities. I've had mine for 10 months, there would be a couple of weeks where it was running funny, but it got fixed after the upgrade. It's a nice piece of work, the keyboard is even more durable than the 9900.

I've had mine since day 2 in Canada (May 2 or 3), and there is no change in processor performance that I can notice. Of course, with the OS updates, it would be impossible to tell, but every update has been an improvement. Battery health went from 99% to 93%. The keyboard is becoming a bit too sensitive and on occasion double types. This double typing issue is by far the most common type of deterioration of the Q10, and in my case, it's a minor annoyance. I will be sending the phone in for repairs.

I've had my Q10 since June 2013 and my observations are as follows:

    1. Raw speed is the same as before.

    2. Apps got progressively smoother with software updates.

    3. Recently (last week) had a couple of disconcerting random reboots.

    4. Battery life is very slightly better than before. I still charge the phone every 36-48 hours.

I've had my Q10 since may and if anything it's running smoother than ever.

Regarding battery life, last weekend I took it off charge at 6am on Saturday morning and on Monday evening it still had 30% charge (no social networks activated on the Q10 though)

Had mine 6 months or so and it's like the day I bought it. As far as double-typing/keyb issues - those sound like simple warranty swap for defective hardware?
