I tried one of those holders that attach to the handlebars but I have a buzzy motorcycle that vibrates too much; the Q10 kept rebooting using that. I came up with this and it has worked great. It has survived the pothole-ridden roads of NYC metro area like the FDR Drive etc. No bumps have yet sent it a flying. It's in there pretty good.

It bought a cheapo TPU skin/case on eBay and attached 3M dual-lock plastic velcro to it and the top of the gas tank. Works great. I don't really look at it while driving but now I can attach my headphones easier to it for getting directions from BlackBerry Maps.

I use the ram mount x-grip to mount my Z10 on my Ninja. The ram mounts have rubber balls in them to reduce vibration.

Your setup looks good though. Wouldn't work for me since my tank bag would be in the way.

If you would post a pic of it. Although I bet it wouldn't work on my Z750S as the bike is super-buzzy once you hit highway speeds.

Got a RAM mount. Working real good even with the grip not ideal because the volume buttons. No problems so far even with some high speed bumps.

Anyone have any idea how to waterproof a microusb male plug so that it is still easy to use? I currently have a little baggie with a rubber band on mine as you can see on the pic. It's wired to the battery for charging the Q10. I'm just concerned that rain will cause a short unless I keep that male plug end waterproofed. Funny, seems like there are caps and accessories for so many things but not for a microusb plug.

Something like a transparent sheet of plastic which let you see the screen and use the keyboard ? I guess a simple plastic bag will do the trick (clamped to avoid seeing it flying on the road).

Thanks for the suggestion. I meant the plug end of the micro usb cable. Not the phone itself to waterproof. Would you believe I found 1 place online that sells micro usb b caps but it would be 18 shipped for one little piece of plastic.

So I found some tubing and made this to waterproof the end when I'm not using it:

OK. Last post for me here for awhile. But I did find some affordable micro usb b caps in case anyone has similar concerns.

(Don't know if they are waterproof but I'm going to try)

Because according to last post on this page the water will short out and break the charger:
