are you referring to SQN100-5? If so, i think that's the model where the phone will fit according to region's radio frequency (Cellular Network frequency)

Mine is made also in Mexico, but I'm using the SQN100-3, which radio frequency availability matches here in the Philippines

No, that's not what i mean
Mine is SQN100-3 too, but if u look the back of the phone (take out the battery first), you'll see where your phone is made. Mine shows Made in Mexico 5

It is the identification of the factory and possibly the assembly line. We have two Q10 here, a Rogers and a Virgin. Both are Mexico 5.

Most of the North American BlackBerry phones are made in North America, with the majority made in Mexico. The North American Free Trade agreement makes Mexico phones duty free to Canada and the USA.

A few of the early runs and more specialized phones can be made in Canada. I think the Verizon Z10 were Canadian made.

It's one factory in Mexico, I think different lines manufacture different products like Mexico 5 (line 5)does the Q10 and line 6 (Mexico 6) does the Z10

as others have said, its the assembly line.

They do that so if they get a bunch of faulty phones back, they can pin point the factory, and what assembly line its from to fix the issue.
