Sometimes during the day, my BB just resets itself without having been shut off. Do I need to return it to the store?

The beep (x 2 maybe?) is probably that you have your phone set to notify you of stuff during a call - text, EM, Fb or similar.

With regards to your phone restarting, try putting a piece of folded paper between the battery and the cover. it might be the battery moving when you place the phone down or something.

as vlet said, place some paper between the cover and batter, just don't block your NFC communication piece. It worked for me and i haven't had problems.

Yup. It just took a portion of a business card stuck in between the case and battery, and that was the end of the restarting issue.

If you're still within the return period, I suggest that you return it. No reason for you to pay for a faulty phone.
