Hi guys!

How much is the internal memory free space supposed to be on brand new Q10?

I just loaded 10.2.0.1323 haven't installed any apps, haven't copied contacts etc., and the free space already at 11.1GB, Other Data 4.8GB, Picture 19.8MB.

I hadn't put any pictures on the phone, when I open the gallery there's no picture in it.

What gives?

My spare Q10 I loaded fresh with the same OS. I have only installed CB10 on it. Free storage is at 10.9 GB. So, it seems about right to me. I would think the pictures are the ones installed via the OS. You'll find what I am talking about if you go under Settings and change the Wallpaper.

thanks for replying... so it's normal then for it to use up quite a big chunk for the os itself...

Yes, it's normal.

And mind blowing to someone who's first smartphone had 64 MB of onboard memory.
