So, this sort-of kind-of qualifies as news, with this in the description:

This is a presale! I have a connection at Verizon and will be receiving these units sometime in middle to the end of March. That is when this phone will ship to you. This phone will be released in April for T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, & Verizon. It will be $199 or $249 at stores WITH a new 2 year contract agreement, but if you aren't getting a contract, & you want to be the first to own this phone, then buy it right here!

I'm not sure I would even call it news, I think it is just a seller trying to get an early jump on the competition. The dates are nothing like what has been disclosed, in fact the last I heard TMO said mid-March, so I don't think those dates are reliable.

So wouldn't trust that person. His description says late march yeah right. We're talking atleast may-june release.

Edit: I messaged the guy and he said his verizon connect (whatever that is) tells him the Q10 releases in late march. I don't know what to believe at this point.

I wouldn't trust this person, simply because from what I've been told, T-Mobile will NOT be getting the Q10, only the Z10.

Even the BlackBerry representative at the Toronto even on Jan 30th told Simon that the phone will be released in April. So I'll take everything this guy says with a grain of salt.

Everything is back n forth with this phone. So it's really hard to tell what the truth is. I would really like to believe the phone will be available in late march (in the U.S.)

Guys, not sure if you've noticed, but he has a 100% reputation on ebay... And a lot of it is from unlocked phones. I think the guy is legit...

No way this is legit...red flags everywhere. Read the questions/answers at the bottom. Also he states that he will unlock the phone for international use - it's a Verizon phone, and the STL100-4 only has Verizon CDMA/LTE bands. On top of that, even if it WERE legit, he's not getting the phone any earlier than all the VZW stores throughout the USA, you'd be able to buy off contract directly from VZW yourself for $650 tops at the same time his "contact" at VZW gets hold of the phones. People desperate enough to want to be able to say they have a pre-order reserved are going to way overpay and likely get ripped off.

I agree that you'd might as well wait for it to be released since you have to wait until then anyway. No reason to pay $800+ for it... Definitely a rip-off.

Yes, he has a 100% positive feedback, but dig a little more and it is clear to me he is not to be taken seriously. He has received only 19 feedback posts as a seller. Out of those 19, only three of those are for phones and one of those was with a bad ESN. The rest of his sales are for things like coupon books, sports collectibles, casino fun books, and whey protein supplements.

Haha its up to $2,000...yes you read that right. An hour left and 52 bids on it. I find it unbelievable that someone would pay that much with no guarantee when this guy will have it and the fact that it will be available for no where near that outrageous price.

If they want to overpay for a device and not knowing when their going to get it.. More power to em. Meanwhile us smart ones will just wait and pay for what it's really worth. No phone is worth 2 grand IMO.
