My Q10's earpiece stopped working. I can answer phone calls and not hear anything from the other side. Same thing when I dial out. I can't hear a dial tone or anything. I tried a hard reset and nothing. Any ideas.

I'd say he means, that you should find out if it's headset faulty or the phone itself.

I believe the OP is talking about the actual ear speaker that is built into the phone not a headset that you plug into the 3.5mm audio jack.

Have you tried putting the calls on speaker phone to see if maybe that is the case?

You could also try plugging in a headset and see if you can take the calls that way?

Yes. This is what I'm talking about. Speaker phone works. It is only the ear speaker that doesn't work. It's not even crackly or nothing. Completely dead. I wonder if something came loose inside that I can fix without having to get a new part.

Yes. I tried taking the phone apart today but you need the smallest little Philips screwdriver to take off the keyboard once you get out the mother board. Even tho I don't need to replace the key board im pretty sure I need to separate the display from the bezel in order to get access to it. Even still, haven't found any videos on how to replace that speaker
