I am experiencing terrible delays on my Q10. When I open a text conversation from the hub, it takes ~30 seconds for the phone to load the conversation. If I go into the calendar, it takes an inordinate amount of time to load up my calendar synced from gmail. When I open the phone menu, it takes time for the phone to associate my past calls with my contacts. Also, my battery has been draining at a very fast pace. Apps still seem to work fine, like going on the browser.

I have had the phone for about 2 weeks and it just started doing this. Do not have any sideloaded apps. Just things from blackberry world like beweather and songza (which i never use).

I have tried pulling the battery multiple times, any other suggestions?

Try a device reset first. (NOT the same as a restart.)
Hold down top button, for about 30 seconds. Keep pressing it down, ignoring onscreen countdown and restart option, BB splashscreen, black screen, red LED, BB splashscreen again. I keep holding it down until I see the blue startup icon.

That's the BB10 equivalent of a battery pull.

And please do update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. Makes it easier for others to help you.

Thanks for the suggestion elite1, but it did not work.

I pulled the battery a couple more times and that seems to have fixed it. I did notice a what looked to be a very small piece of the sticker that surrounds the battery on one of the metal connectors on the battery that I took off as well.

    Thanks for the help though.

looks like I have bigger fish to fry. now when I click on a text message in the hub, the screen grays out slightly for about 10 seconds and then goes back to normal and does not show the text message.

Has anyone else had this issue?

    Yes, that's just a bug of BB10.
