Hey, at least you HAVE a speaker! I just went from a hero to the goat in one day... Bought a Z10 for my son at Costco to save $50 (and they throw in 3 way charger, holster & screen protector) and get the $100 square trade warranty that fixes ANY damage or water. Got it home, booted it up & did update. We then went to AT&T to transfer contacts from his old cell. While we waited he decided to watch a video. Great picture but NO sound! Now I have to drive 4 hours back & forth to exchange it...

Phone worked fine for about 1.5 months. Speaker just died. Purchased unlocked without warranty.

There's no type of warranty from BlackBerry regarding stuff like this?

I have just recently noticed a crackling on my speaker when I listen to music on my Q10. I checked to make sure it wasn't an issue with the mp3 I was playing by checking it on both my pc and my hubby's Slll and both of them worked fine. This is just so frustrating as I have spent the last 2 days restoring my phone for another issue.
