We have both the Z10 and Q10 in production accessing IMAP accounts for:

    Gmail
    Exchange (ActiveSync)
    Internal IMAP Server

    Both use the same network.

We find that the Q10 continually drops the email account and forces the user to re-enter the email account password. This happens whether the user has Wi-Fi turned on or off.

We do not have any of these issues with the Z10.

The Q10 is on Rogers and running the latest production build of the OS.

I would appreciate any suggestions and/or fixes to this problem.

This happened to me on my Z10. I just deleted the accounts it was happening on and re-added them. That fixed it for me.

I only got the re-enter password notification once on my AT&T Q10. I would try doing what's suggested above and re-add them.
