How can I backup my contacts and my calendar on my Q10?

The legacy Blackberry's had the BlackBerry Protect where they could back it up and restore it in a new device.

I am thinking of backing up my stuff and loading it onto a legacy BB? How should I go about doing this?

    Thanks in advance guys!

Is there also another way? I do not always have access to a desktop computer or laptop, but I still want to backup my files like contacts, notes, wifi profiles etc.

I'm hoping a future update will bring back the full functionality of BlackBerry Protect. The ability to set up a backup schedule and never worry about it was a great thing, and gives the customer peace of mind.

The stability of BlackBerry 10 gives me some hope that it may not be as much of a need than Protect was with the legacy OS, but the more protection we can have built in the better.

I can't seem to sync my calendar and contacts using BlackBerry link. I use outlook for my MSN email. It says I need .pst files or something. I guess I don't really care that much about syncing since I enter all contacts and calendar events in my phone and not outlook. Does BlackBerry link back up contacts and calendars? That's what I care about more.

May I interrupt? If you are looking for something like BlackBerry Protect, try Fire Chest Backup. It's new. It's free. And I think it will solve your problem
