I'm assuming you mean the iPhone 5 wall piece with the Q10 cable? I've never thought of it. I wouldn't...maybe I'm just a scaredycat.....

    Yes, you can use it.
No, it would not cause a problem.

Good question. Don't see why you wouldn't be able to but I'm not sure. I'm like @qbnkelt - a little scared given the articles i've read of using the wrong chargers and blah blah.

I use several different chargers to charge my Q10, depending on where I am. One is a high power (2.1A) charger. It works with all of them with no problems.
    -BUT-
I wouldn't try an Apple charger because they have not signed up to the micro-USB standard for their phone sockets. It is probably OK but I personally wouldn't risk it.

They USB on the input side. In order to use USB I believe certain standards have to be followed so as to ascertain compatibility between devices. Anyway, it's only 0.2 A difference, which is minimal.

I can't remember which thread I was reading it in on here but there was something about the rapid chargers for the PlayBook and using it to charge your berry.. The consensus was that it would charge faster but the longer you leave it plugged in to the 'more powerful' charger, the deeper the charge will be so the longer it will actually last.. does that make sense? Basically, a rapid charger will charge it full quickly but it will then also discharge faster than normal but if you leave it plugged in longer (say overnight) it will have the same results as a standard charger.

You can't overcharge the battery so no need to worry about that but I think I've got the other bit right...
I don't suppose you saw that thread qbnkelt did you?

I haven't tried an apple brick specifically but I have used many different brick/car adapter/cable configurations to charge my various berries and PlayBook and have yet to see any negative effects from it.

I think the bigget issue with mix and match charging was in the good old days when it was guite possible to over charge the battery and not everyone used the same standard so with the old pin chargers, the post could be + and the collar - on your device but reversed on the charger at which point you most likely end up with an expensive brick..

Idk I've tried it before with an iphone wall charger with a cable from an ereader, and it didn't seem to affect my phone at all
