    Hi I know that before on my bb 9800 could just use the asterisk hold down and it would switch between that but on my q10 it just seems to like try and assign a speed dial to it. Anyway to do this ?

    Also seems like you have to go into the quick menu to toggle certain things on / off anyway to avoid doing that or you have to just get used to doing the extra steps. (Compared to the one touch on androids)

    I guess just want to be efficient and turn off the radios to save battery life

    You have to go to the quick settings to do that. Two taps. Easy peasy.
