    Hi
currently I have a OB commuter for my Q10. though I like the protection it provides, the keys on the edges near to the case are hard to hit, because of the caseedges.
My question is: do you know another case which provides protection for normal usage in the office and at home (no sport activities....) but fits better withe the keyboard?
    Thx on advance Lars

I have the Incipio Feather Shine case in silver, & it works well. Has a lip that comes up over the front, so that you can put it face down, but the lip isn't too big, so doesn't affect the keys.

The OEM BlackBerry soft shell is a perfect case if you're looking for keyboard accessibility. Although it doesn't offer the most protection.

And although it's a 'soft' shell. It's rather hard and feels sturdy. I like it.

Crunk case here on Crackberry is the best combination of protection and key accessibility. I have all the OEM cases and the Crunkcase works perfectly with the BlackBerry holster.

Picked up the seidio case from cb store it was on sale and it is good. Where the keys are it very soft rubber so you kinda push it out of the way as you type. I was concerned too but it works good. I have the BlackBerry hard case and it give the phone some bulk but I perfer the added protection and grip from this. Was worth the sale price for sure.

    Leaked 10.2.1. Couldn't resist

The ballistic case provides decent protection and leaves the keys untouched.

I positively love the Roots case I purchased through CrackBerry. I've dropped my phone a couple times and once it even suffered a fairly good bounce on the supermarket floor. Case kept my phone safe and secure. So glad I own it.

There are no ridges or plastic bad in the way. The case fits perfectly. It slants down where the keyboard is When you type it feel likes there is no case

I feel like when somebody says a particular case is "the best", they can really only say what fits their individual needs the best. Even if they've tried a bunch, it's still biased by personal opinion. I got a case on amazon. It's MPERO brand, and it's hard and soft shell combined. I won't say it's the best, but it's pretty cheap ($6? Or so?) and it has a kickstand for those of you into that. I don't use the kickstand myself. I will say that I have fairly large fingers (size 12 ring finger if that's any indication) and I have no problems whatsoever hitting the keys. This case will not fit the oem holster, though. In fact, the horizontal pouch I am using required a bit of modification. The phone fit in the pouch with the shell, but the flap would not close. I ended up cutting the magnets out of another case I wasn't using, and supergluing them to the pouch so it would close properly. I spent $18 on the pouch.

Here is a link to the mpero case. Amazon.com: MPERO IMPACT X Series Kickstand Case for BlackBerry Q10 - Black / Neon Green: Cell Phones & Accessories it comes in several different color combos. The black/black combo is now $12.95, but that's the color I got and I didn't pay that much. The rest of the colors are $4.95.

thx for your replies...I am aware of the personal preferences when it comes to smartphone accessoires. although I must admit that the balistic case, youssef mentioned, is the only one Ive seen so far that uses different hights for the edges of the case...if you understand me...

The acase does have that. I have it on right now. It fits under the key board rather then over it. The plastic is also soft like rubbery plastic. And its 2 pieces plastic and rubber. I will take a picture of it soon for you with my phone in it.

The mpero case is also two pieces, plastic and rubber. The rubber part moves out of the way near the keyboard.
