I have just been in spian for a few days and the battery lasted over double the time.

I used my phone as normal as I have included roaming minutes the only change was I used wifi instead of 3g.

I am on EE in the uk. Should just using wifi make that much difference or is something else?

    Thanks in advance.

if you were not using network data, then that is the reason.

If you turned your network data off and just used wifi when applicable, you will see the same results on your home network.

data is a massive battery killer
