    Cool Q10 Battery Is Unbelievable!

    What a powerhorse!

I spent 4 hours straight typing non stop and taking camera pics using Whatsapp Messenger. and now my battery is till 60 Left. I had a 100% before I start chatting

If this was an iPhone or Galaxy the battery would've been dead with so much abuse! the screen never went off for a second!

the person I was typing to kept saying how the heck do you type so fast? LOL I told her to get a freakin' REAL phone with a REAL keyboard!

this is what I call a practical phone! not some nice iToy with good features, bla bla bla, tha you can't use without being on a charger!

I remember with my previous iPhone 5, one video call on Skype for 1 hour was enough to kill the battery and make the phone hot as a pancake

Indeed it is! The battery life trounces the iphone every time. I abuse my Z30. I get so many emails when I am in the field that it boggles the mind how long the battery lasts.

The Q10 is the underdog and most underrated mobile computing device around. I blame it on BlackBerry for not properly promoting such an incredible device. And not just for the battery (I get 16 hours as a heavy user!)! It's an all-around communication freakin' machine!

One day we will get our respect.....even if we have to take it!

Live it, love it, be it.....BB10

Q10 is a humble device... silent but deadly.

The one problem of blackberry is the number of it's native apps but everything else for me it seems better as a phone. Last night me and a friend went in a caf she needed to use the wifi so she open the wifi settings in iphone 5 and she has 1 wifi visible connection and it was not the cafe's. I told her no that impossible they have wifi here so I told her to try restart her iphone 5 and the wifi. Still the same only 1 visible connection so I tried to enable wifi on my Q10 and there I had like 7 wifi connections. I was laughing and showed her the wifi connections I got 1 vs 7 that was a lot.

I have 40% battery left and says 2 hours remaining?? Huh? I am getting horrible battery life. Had new 2141 update for about a week

Fully charged at 830am this morning. Only done some words with friends, and checked email, some facebook.

Battery time left is based on your most recent usage. If you have used it heavily for the last hour or two it will show how long you have left if used at that rate. Let it sit & leave it alone for a little bit and it will show how long you have left if used at that rate.

With that said, when I updated to 10.2.1, I ran mine completely to 0% and let it shut off by itself and then left it alone for about an hour! then let it fully charge overnight without using it. My battery life is phenomenal.

Inside the device manager. Do you have the OS Version 10.2.1?

Hi. I am planning to switch from Z10 to Q10. Is it wise? I have games installed but I never toucbed them due to my busy sched. I wanted the Physical Keyboard Back. I don't mind the smaller screen coz i dont watch videos and play much. Do you think it is okay? My Z10 battery dies fast. Is it true that it has better battery? My Z10 lasts for 6 hrs coz i am a heavy messaging user

Does the Q10's battery get better with 10.2?

    (I'm still on 10.1)
