Q10 'April' Date = US or Canada?

Hi all,

It seems a little odd - Rogers opened reservations mid-December for the Z10, meaning basically a month and a half before the release date. Now they open reservation for the Q10 which is allegedly late-April (if even), which would make it 3 months to the estimated release date.

Maybe we're missing something. I got this text from Rogers:

3 months is not "soon" to be texting subscribers. Maybe April is the US release date and we're getting it in March?

Thoughts?

I read it as the U.S wont be getting the Q10 til April. I am remaining positive that Canada will receive them much sooner, but its more hoping and strictly speculative IMHO

I called Fido last night to cancel my reservation for the Z10 as I want to wait it out for the Q10. The rep on the line told me that Fido would be releasing both phones on Feb 5th. I asked him a few times to verify and avoid any confusion. His exact words were "I guarantee that we'll have both on the 5th." Hopefully that is the case. Just thought I'd share. Cheers

I had the same experience as the user above, if you call rogers (611) and ask to speak to the loyalty department, they have verified their bulletin reads that on the 5th of February, BOTH the Q10 and Z10 will be being launched simultaneously. If it happens i'm glad, if not i'll wait
