My Z30 is already on the update of 10.3.1.1565 on maxis. Got I thru ota on the 20th but my Q10 has not received any prompt for update yet. Even though when I swapped my maxis sim to Q10 it is still not showing any update prompt. So don't really know whether the earlier update got for my Z30 ota is from maxis or BlackBerry itself.....

Doing my backup via backup pro. App's aa lil costly. But at least a piece of mind. Hope we get some luck today. Keep us posted ya. We can even feedback each other after when we get the update.. take care!

Do a full back up via BlackBerry link too. That way everything is backed up just in case.

Then do the update and then do a reload using link.

Do a partial restore or clean install.

And have yourself a fully bug free device.

By the way I think Malaysia and Singapore will be getting 10.3.1.1581 with OS10.3.1.2267.

Thanks for the advice! I am still travelling so the best I can do is to backup via backup pro. I will take ur advice, will backup with BlackBerry link. Then do a clean install. Thanks again! Hope we get some news in the next few hours!

There are many mix reviews on the new OS, some love it, some report to have many many bugs. What's ur opinion? Lol.

If you do a clean install, you wont have the bugs.

Ive used a Z10, Q10, Z30 and now using a passport and ive installed every OS leak, I never have problems with bugs because I never update OTA.

I always do either a partial restore using BlackBerry link or a completely clean install.

Has always worked like a charm and I think anyone who does clean installs can say the same.

Im already running PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2243 from a leak.

buat full backup dulu pakai BlackBerry link.

Lepas update jangan restore apa apa. Tambah balik email, settings, apps dan sebagainya secara manual.

Haha, I dah pernah guna Android, WP, iOS... I bosan dengan semua tu... balik2 BB jugak Dah guna 5 BlackBerrys... tak bosan

Just wanted to add that I didn't backup my phone before the update, but I am not having any problems now whatsoever... At first there was a problem with the Video app, but now it's solved and working fine. But I have never installed any leak, and all my updates have been OTA.
