Hello. Im from central america and my carrier doesnt do updates to Blackberry systems. They speceifically told me i have to do it myself when i bought the phone.

In october, I succesfully installed the 10.2 thanks to some good guides from here that i used.

But now, with the 10.2.1, as far as i know, it should magically appear as an update in my cellphone, but that is not happening.

My question is.... how i update manually my Q10, like i did the last time with the sachesi program?. I have not seen any tutorials or people doing it. The article on the main page says "the launch was globally, so wait for ur cell to show the update message"..... but as far as i know, it will not happens ince my carrier just doesnt do updates.

How can i update my OS to 10.2.1?.

Try to see if it shows up in BlackBerry Link on your PC.

Oh Link coud have it?. I was not aware they were also sending the update from BB link.

My update didn't show until I plugged in to BBLink, definitely worth a try.

My carrier won't have the update until mid Feb. So I loaded 10.2.1 on my Q10 this morning using Sachesi.

Ok guys i came home.. plugged my phone to the BB link... and the update says that is "10.2.0.18".....and the one i donwloaded here in CB from months ago iss "10.2.0.41".

I mean wtf??? it not just only is missing the new update... but is offering me AN OLDER evrsion of my 10.2 update?

Relax bud, you'll get it soon enough. It's rolling out in stages by area and phone. Most Z10's have the update. Some Q10's so far but not all. Just keep checking each day. You'll have it within a few weeks at very longest.
