Hi all - I'm getting a Purple LED randomly blink while I'm playing the Neuton Music Player app - does that mean there's a problem with my BB? I hope not?

Google doesn't seem to have an answer...not sure any of you guys have one?

Do you use any LED changing apps like BeBuzz, Hub++?

I don't think so. I get this purple LED random blinks too sometimes. But I suspect this may be due to the "automatic gain protection" or AGP being turned on. It's some kind of over-level notification. You can try turning the AGP off at the equaliser or the settings menu.

    Hope this helps.

Auto gain protection (AGP) function. It will blink purple if the music you are playing exceeds the level you have set it to. This happens a lot with MP3 files of varying quality or recordings at higher volume levels. You will notice every time it blinks your volume will decrease.

Ah, that makes sense, considering I have increased the EQ/volume of the music over the 'default' max volume - and I don't use any LED changing apps

    Thanks all!
