    Hello

I have setup a mail account on my Q10 for a personal mail (hosted with wordpress/register.com). I tried sending to/from it, and it works fine, but from time to time I have a "Provider Identity Not Verifiable" message. Anyone knows what it is, and how to overcome it? I have attached the main screenshot, and I have all the remaining from when I press details (if anyone wanna take a look)
    Lemme know

    Cheers,

That simply means the server has a security certificate which can't be verified. Either it is self-signed with no traceability back to proven root certificates, one of the certificates in the chain is expired, or there is a domain name mismatch (not uncommon on servers hosting shared mailspace or home based servers running on cable/DSL lines).

I've occasionally had the same message when sending email to my wife's company email.

I have been getting this same message lately (@20 times a day). It pops up randomly, while I am using the browser, while I am in Blackberry world etc. Looking at the details it varies but here is the latest.
    Any ideas?

My service is T-Mobile so I assume that's the server. Perhaps the original server was Blackberry. So I'll have to ask T-Mobile to edit the certificate at their end & perhaps update it at mine also.

I found this. The 1st link has another link in it I think which has a bit headed 2. Email Messages. This (& also 1. & 3.) gives instructions on how to install a certificate. Although it does not tell you where to get it from. Perhaps from Blackberry by email if it can be received by email attachment & you give them enough technical information about your phone:

By the way I've been on update 10.1.0.4181 since July 30, and I haven't had that pop-up since.
