Hey,
So I updated my OS but ever since when somebody is calling me or texting me, whatever, my phone rings way more quietly than before.
I went to "Settings" the volume is on it's higher level ... nothing different. When I play music, though, the sound is awesome. But seriously I can't hear my phone when rings... this is ridiculous.
Is there anybody with the same problem or it's just me?

Hi, am experiencing the same issue after updating my Q10 device with 10.3.1 software, the ring tone, notifications sound have gone down and many a time not audible. Can someone explain?

It's a known issue and BlackBerry is working on it. So far we can only wait for the next update.
Also suggest you to check volume settings for a notification profile you are using. Go to notifications / tap on the profile (normal, for example) / select customize app notifications / select the application and tap override profile volume. Then set volume slider to a maximum level. This helped me, but notification volume is still quieter, than on 10.2 OS.

Ugh... The next update will be at least after 5 months... Thank you about the information, I was looking for 10.3. bugs before updating but I saw only positive comments, guess my digging didn't do me good.
Anyway, hope that soon we'll have normal notifications without bothering about the sound

I have seen that they have stopped anymore official 10.3 updates for Q10 and Z10's because of the problems.

Not sure if people here are aware of it, but this latest OS release fixed the quiet notifications issue, and probably some other issues as well.

Please confirm the version of 10.3.x that has fixed the low volume notifications bug on the Q10.
It would be great if the CB Q10 community could confirm that this is no longer an issue in 10.3.x updates

The volume problem was an issue for me. Used the overdue profile volume going thru each app and contact to adjust. Meanwhile the problem of a flickering screen can be irritating. Passport specifically faces this issue.
