    The title says it all. From what i am aware there will be FOUR variants of the Q10 so SQN100-1,2,3,4

    is it possible to know before opening the phone out of the box which variant your about to buy?

    Your best lead is to check which frequencies the carrier uses if you are buying it from a carrier.

    It should be on one of the label on the box.
    well at least it is on my Z10 box :
    SKU: BBSTL100-4
    Blackberry Model Z10 STL100-4
    Model RFA91LW

    I have a similar label on the box of my previous device ( Torch )
    I don't see why they would change that
