Listen, most of you have seen my Q10 posts, and I debated on whether or not I should post this, but decided it was worth sharing in case any others were on the fence about either upgrading to a leaked 10.3.1 OS or to a BlackBerry Passport.

If you saw my posts, you know that I recently decided against a Passport and against a Note 4 in favor of Q10. I thought that this device was perfect for my use and couldn't be better. I was wrong.

By installing 10.3.1.XXX this device that I thought was perfect, just got BETTER!! I have truly enjoyed this phone more and more since the upgrade. I haven't found any major bugs since the update (I am running .958 or whatever that version was) and so far I haven't found any, not saying there isn't any. But now that my bluetooth issues and android app issues are fixed, I am loving this!!!

So if you are on the fence on installing a leak, DO IT!

    I installed 10.3.1.938 from this thread http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...l#post11022346

Was real simple. Just download the autoloader, extract it. plug your Q10 into the computer, close out Blackberry Link. Hold the power down on your device and double click the new installer. Turn your device back on and it installs.

Do a backup before hand if you want all your info back (I keep mine on the cloud or in Exchange so I don't need to do that.)

I have the 10.3.0.1154 update on mine and love the Q10 with the 10.3 updates. Will just stick with this until we get the official updates. Have it installed on two Z10s too. Just neat!

I had the Z30, which I think is one of the best mobile devices on the market, if not the best, running on OS 10.3.1. Wow.

But I went back to the Q10. And, with OS 10.3.1 running, the Q10 is just a delight to use. I really needed a phone for one-handed use for the most part of the day.

In fact, BlackBerry upgraded OS 10.3.1 is just awesome.

3.1 is so great it on the Q10 it removes some of the drive to consider a PP or Classic. I'm thinking of buying a backup for $200 from BlackBerry.

Bluetooth apps that previously didn't work, now work properly. Android apps become more usable in every major update.

Exactly! My favorite android app is Audible. It now works much better with my car bluetooth and streaming.

Apps load smoother and faster, although I am sure this will be even better by the official release.

Does 3.1 solve the need for android apps to use Google play services, I have a few apps which I downloaded through snap which won't work because of the absence of Google Play Services.

I have tried on 2 different laptops to do the 10.3 and can't?

Are the links in the thread you posted still good?

When I try to download the autoloader, I get a bunch of junk programs starting to download? I have used sachesi before on my Q10 for 10.2 with ease, just can't get this to work?

Yes it is still active, and I just went back and tried the downloads. Here is the direct link to download

    https://my.bitcasa.com/download-send...ize=1443636668

Remember, this has to be unzipped using 7zip, then you have to extract it to a folder on your computer.

Ok, just tested an no, Google Apps still don't work. Still getting the message that you need Google Play Services.

It probably will never work unless there's some kind of special deal in place with Google and BlackBerry.
