For the third time since Verizon released the OS update a couple of weeks ago, my locked Q10 pocket dialled the emergency services. The screen was also frozen, I couldn't end the call. This didn't happen once in the prior 8 months of owning the phone, but update to 10.2.1 and within 2 weeks it's happened 3 times. It's ridiculous.

Is there any way of disabling the call emergency services button from the lock screen?

I think by law, you need to be able to call emergency services from the lock screen so that if you have a password and someone finds your phone while running from the boogityman they can call for help.

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone having your problem though.

It's probably related to the os update, go into your settings for the display and turn of swipe which means you have to use the power button to wake your device up.
