Hi everyone,

I noticed as soon as I got the q10 that i could finally touch a phone number in the browser (Google results for instance) and the dialer would open and dial.

Then I did the device switch and i think I've lost the ability to dial from the browser. I know there is the trick to copy the number and paste into the phone app, or even tel: xxx-xxx-xxxx in the browsers search bar.

Just funny how i was so elated this small fix was applied but now i have lost it. Any suggestions?

Apparently it depends on the format the number is written in the Browser.
I think from Browser, xxx-xxx-xxxx works iirc but other formats don't.

I thought this was fixed in 10.1, so disappointed to hear it's still hit & miss...

Highlight the number -> press the highlighted area -> share -> flow dialer

Yea some numbers in the Browser call out and others don't, has to do with the format, it frustrates me just a little especially since we can't copy and paste

Thee format doesn't matter actually, it's the code on the site that makes the difference.

On my z10 the way Google opens is different, see picture as it allows me to click phone numbers to be dialed whereas in the second picture is a screenshot of what my browser displays with the q10. Both are running the same os ver 10.1.0.1483

The z10 is connected only to wifi network rather than provider but that shouldn't case the Google page to be loaded differently?
