    I updated my Blackberry Q10 to the new Blackberry 10 OS (10.1.0) and now my phone can't make or receive calls.

    I have removed and replaced the battery about 100 times now.

    I've pressed the off on button and restarted it about 100 times.

    I've dug around in the settings but no dice.

    HELP PLEASE!!!!

    try reload the os using BlackBerry link

    I'm baffled why you are using 10.1.0 right now. You really should be using 10.2.0 right now.
    As for why it won't make calls, chances are it's because you have a bad radio file. If you loaded the OS with things like sachesi, etc, most likely you forgot to download and load the radio file

    I just went to device updates, checked for updates and downloaded what it said the latest one is. I downloaded the entire package. It doesn't come in pieces so I don't know what you mean. How can I find a "radio file" separately?

    OK, it's reloaded... same problem, can't make calls or get them. I hate this phone now. Why did I try to update the stupid OS?! I should've just left it alone. It worked great before.

    Worth a phone call to the service provider, they can do a reset of everything on their side. Sometimes things get out of whack. I have had service suddenly fail and this worked.
