My Q10 has been away for 2 weeks being repaired (keyboard problem). While it has been gone, I was using my husband's old Samsung S2. To say I struggled with it, was an understatement. I did wonder if I would enjoy using it, particularly for the bigger screen. How wrong was I?

It may have a bigger screen but it never really showed Web pages to their full advantage as they all seemed a bit squashed.

I didn't find it as easy to use and it wasn't because it was different, as I usually only take a few days to get used to a new phone. I found typing tricky, so much, that I haven't been on forums while it has been away as I was making so many mistakes.

I am sure the galaxy's have improved but I am sticking with my BlackBerry. So happy to have it back!

Congrats on the return of your beloved Q10. And your return to the Forums!

    Out of curiosity:
    1. Had you ever used Android previously?
    2. Was the S2's OS updated?
    3. Which device(s) does your hubby use now?

    1. Yes, had an HTC a few years ago and do use my son's samsung tablet every now and then.
    2. Probably not.
    3. He has the S4 which I can't get on with either.

The s2 isn't going to be as good as an up to date phone and I do realise this but just like the simplicity of the BlackBerry

2 weeks? What country? Here in the Philippines it just took me 30 minutes at the BlackBerry service center. They replaced the keyboard with a new one.

Anyway, glad you got your Q10 back on your hands again.

    Cheers!

UK. It went via Carphone Warehouse, who sent it back to BlackBerry.

I just got mine back as well for the same problem. I was using my old S3 and I hated it so much I went to my 4S. Only reason my I was fine with the iPhone is because I could jailbreak it and get it working the way I wanted.

I found the S4 to be the most buggy and frustrating smartphone I have ever used. Utter rubbish.

I too have just received my Q10 back from carphone warehouse in the UK (this afternoon). I was using my previous phone, the HTC One X, and although it is a top notch phone I dearly missed my Q10. I guess it's true what they say....once you go black you don't go back!
