    Hey guys!
I got a Blackberry Q10 about 2 years ago, a Z10 about a year ago (lost my Q10 in a club ) and now Got a white "original" blackberry passport about 3 weeks ago! It's an awesome device - all in all i think its the best phone i've ever had (technically) but damn i sorely miss my Q10 (size, compact, design...). For me, the Q10 uniquely defined blackberry.

Now to the topic ; Would you trade off your Passport for a Q10 plus money? And if you do, how much money would you demand .

I did this... had a passport for about 6 weeks, then got a classic, month later back on q10.. for me it's the best size and it does all I need. I just sold my pp and classic separately and waited for a good deal on a q10 to pop up. I think pocket wise that would work out the best for you.

you won't regret going back to q10 tho!

I have a Q10 in very good condition (SQN100-5) with latest beta OS and no double typing. ( I use it on wi-fi only and rarely). I also have an extra battery charger bundle

I am not sure I fully understand your request about how much money I would demand. I think this should be the other way around. Q10 plus $100 for a trade with your passport.

I have the defect that I can't decide on with device I like best. So I just love to switch. The formula that works for me is to collect banged up Blackberries and put a new housing or screen on it.

Started with a Z10. I sold it as I got hold of a Z30 for 100 euros, with smashed screen. That's where it started, new screen 35 euros and five minute job. Added a Q10 for 40 euros plus 15 euros for a new housing. And just bought a smashed screen Z10 for 30 euros and ordered a screen and frame for 8 euros.

So that's three berries for 228 euros... all in mint condition after the treatment. I might sell them all if the slider comes out, I might not...

What was wrong with the classic jackstar86?
I think i got two great deals now:
    1.) BlackBerry Passport for BlackBerry Q10 + 220 $,
    2.) Passport for BlackBerry Classic + 110 $.

The Classic is about to intrigue me now lol

Nothing at all wrong with the classic! Extra size and weight for toolbelt and bit bigger screen not needed by me is all, great phone..had heaps of q10 accessories still too so when a q popped up for 130aud I couldn't resisit

Both the classic and pp are arguably 'better' phones than the q10, but for some of us I guess it's just that old habits die hard.

I did exactly the same. Got a q10 when it came out, had it until the Passport came out, used the passport (and loved the specs and camera) for awhile, but missed the Q10 sorely. Tried the Classic when it came out but went back to the Q10.

The form factor is perfect, it is still by far the best phone I have ever had.

I think i'll exactly do the same as you because i now have the chance to grab a classic - so either i keep it or sell it for a q10 lol.

I had a passport, then classic, then I switched back to my GN4... Last week I ordered a p9983 in graphite black which should be arriving tomorrow. This device is essentially a dressed up q10... The OS on the q10 is the same as that in the classic and passport (not accounting for ram and memory). despite being 2 years old, the q10 is still an awesome device.

I started with the Z10, then Z30, then Q10 for about 5 month, then the Passport for about 4 months and now I'm back with my beloved Q10. I like the size, the keyboard and everything. BlackBerry please launch a new Q10 with better specs. The device is brilliant and awesome.

I think its time to start looking on Ebay and Amazon for a good backup Q10, the best BlackBerry since the 9930 Bold. IMO.

I bought Passport in March and about 3 weeks ago I bought Q10 as spare / backup phone. Q10 is now my daily driver and Passport is waiting in drawer as backup. I'm considering to replace PP with Classic but I can't decide, as I got PP for only 230 brand new at my provider.

I also have a Q10 that I sometimes use only on wifi and sometimes I activate it and use it on the go depending on my desire or needs at the moment. The other phone I was using on the go when I didn't use my Q10 was a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini but it's just too slow now so I sometimes use an iPhone 5S 64 that I picked up a few weeks ago.

The battery bundle is a must and totally awesome. I even use it for my iPhone when out and about and to charge up a bluetooth headset when needed. I always carry it regardless of the phone I'm carrying that day.
When I use it on the iPhone I just carry one of these little adapters shown in the picture.

But I keep coming back to the Q10. Voice dictation is second to none on the iPhone but typing is second to none on the Q10. And I use both so I'm always torn. But I have invested close to nothing in the Apple ecosystem so no love there.

I've always come back to black(berry)

Knesz, in regards to the Classic... it is a great phone, I love the tool belt, but do not like the extra weight and size. I know the differences are minimal, but they are noticeable. I now use it as my back up along with my Z10 (had it as back up when DT infected the Q). If you have an opportunity to try it, you should. Many people like that it is a little bigger and heavier.

Same story here and I find myself always looking for a slightly used Q10 as a backup device. It is the perfect size for traveling. I also miss the awesome keyboard.

I have and use both. The Passport for work (conference calls and lotsa document editing and translating that only 3GB of RAM can manage without stuttering), and the Q10 for networking, socmed, general typing and reading ebooks. I don't play games on my phones. I have the laptop and my wife's android for that.

Funny, but I've been jonesing for a Passport since it was announced. But, I love my Q10 for the reasons people have given. The Q10 works, it fits in my pocket, on the dash of my car, and does everything I ask it to do. I just can't pull the trigger on going to the Passport. Head says yes, heart says I just don't know (no).

I was a true lover of my Q10, but bought a Passport on Ebay and now I can't see myself returning with the Q10. The Q10 was amazing, but I entered a whole new world with the Passport.

I'm on the fence esp now that att has lowered the price for the pp. Two things holding me back: 1) no removable battery 2) no full keyboard.

A new Q10 the size of the classic without the toolbelt would be perfect IMO (and removable battery!)

I also agree with the above: just 1.5 times biger and I keep it for life!
