Considering buying a Q10, but will first leave this questions for you, the owners.

Does the paint on the key with the "nipple" and on the silver lines between the keys chip?

I'm planning to keep it in my pocket.

How long have you had your Q?
Because my bold started chipping one month after I bought it.

Take care which pocket you put your phone in and what other things are in that pocket. Corner of my "X" key was scratched and paint came off, revealing the light underneath. Quick fix with a sharpie for now, later I might just replace the keyboard myself.

I'm pretty sure I had keys in my pocket along with my Q10 when that happened (very stupid of me, I know), I've learned my lesson!

I have found the Q10 to be more durable than the 9930 I had prior. So far the keys are untouched with no wear at all.

I noticed this happens when you type with your nails instead of the meat of your thumbs, if that makes any sense.

They do seem more durable, also, on the 99xx, the "silver lines" were painted plastic. This time, on the Q, they do seem like actual metal.

    Hope I'm not mistaken.
And, yunique, I do know what you mean! My nails aren't even that long, haha.

I have had my Q10 for exactly 31 days now and the quality has held up quite nicely. No chipped or rubbed away paint at all.
