It would help us if we know what carrier you are with and model type of Q10

I wish the devices would all get the same updates instead of all the different versions with carriers etc.

With this version, updated OTA, my SQN100-1 have problems with connections to Windows BBLink.. and does not automatically map up drives in Windows Explorer when connected via WiFi, Only works via USB... It does work fine with 10.1.0.4285

I'm in the UK, on giffgaff/o2.

I received the update last week, but never actually upgraded. I've heard that the phone starts to randomly overheat, and drain the battery FAST.

What experiences have you, who have upgraded, had? My phone is currently on 273 and I've experienced no overheating or battery draining or anything - its really stable. I think this update is a maintenance release; I don't know if it brings anything "new" and so I'm considering waiting...

Any insight would be appreciated :-)

Dismal battery life and hot Q10 stories are enough to keep me from updating. How many of you will be trying a leak.

I've thought of the 10.1.0.4285 leak that's been out for a week or more (thanks to Lbfe, Kris and everyone that're getting the OS's to us to play with)...

The thing is that these leaks and updates are supposed to address bugs and stability. My Q is stable; not really had an issue apart from a one time overheat (after sideloading viber - it didn't work very well so I just got rid of it and no issue after).

If I'm stable - well I'm hesitant to try even updating. I'm seriously thinking of waiting till the 10.1 MR, or 10.2.

I just don't want to jinx it... am I being too paranoid? I've read one too many horror stories (though I don't know how many of them actually are applicable to the UK)...

Since initial overheat i.e straight after installation no further heat issues

Too early to comment re battery life though I easily got over a day with earlier installation

    I'm on rogers with SQN100-3.

While traveling in Ireland/UK a couple weeks back i updated this os and i had the same overheating/battery drain issue.

Battery Lover app said the battery was running at a temp of 39deg Celsius and battery would last a few hours if i was lucky with nothing running at all or windows open.

As soon as i got back to toronto i wiped and downgraded back to official rogers. 273 and now running back to normal with battery life lasting pretty much all day with moderate/heavy usage.

I switch device on at 7am and it's 7pm now and I have 45% left so in 12hours roughly lost 50% not bad I think with medium/heavy usage
