Any way to open a CSV file that is part of an e-mail?
I have seen threads about OfficeSuite but that doesn't open the files in a message.

This is a problem on the Q10 for me - I get a lot of messages with embedded CSV files.

    Thanks.

Well, I was thinking about contacting BBRY about this just this morning!

No, .csv is currently NOT a supported file type for BB10.

For me on my PC, it opens in Excel anyway, so should be doable you'd think.

Unfortunate that Docs To Go can't handle it.
This is an issue for me.

Today a friend send a chat history through email, a strange issue, BlackBerry 10 don't even recognize the file type that previous BlackBerry OS uses .csv for its chat history files but no support on Q10

I don't understand why it's not supported since it can open excel files and excel can open .csv files

Although it doesn't work for me (I don't know why), follow the instructions explained in Settings->App Manager->Default Apps to open cvs file type in a default program.

    Hopefully it works for you

There's nothing listed when I go there and when I go to the file and do the touch and hold, all I get is the option to share the file?

Workaround - Save the csv file to either your device or sd card, then within file manager change the extension from .csv to .doc and it will then open up fine.

I do this all the time when receiving .csv files :-)

That is precisely what happens to me. The option exists, but it doesn't work. Something to report to Blackberry. I am sorry it didn't work for you, same happened to me.
