    I've been using my Q10 since mid-February, and I started having trouble with my E key this morning. It takes just the slightest pressure to activate the key.

    I replaced my keyboard, purchased from eBay. No problems afterwards. But, I am now using a Z30.

    My Q10 started double typing the day after I noticed posts about it on CB, I think it's a CB jinx auto-correct for the most part takes care of it. I'm not eager to replace my keyboard until it looks like new keyboards permanently fix the problem.

    I first got a Q10 around October 2013. I have since replaced it 3 times. So I am on my fourth Q10 since October. The last one only lasted a month or so. All of the failed units had a similar problem where barely touching the "o" would cause it to be displayed. So if you hit the "i" then "io" would show up. Or if you hit the "o" "oo" was displayed. Reboots or updates didn't resolve the problem in any case. I just got the latest today and after the typical set up hassle I am back up. Verizon does potentially send "refurbs" as replacements so I am not sure how that factors in. Verizon actually told me today that they would not replace with the same model if it happens again.

    ok I voted. Not sure how useful this poll will be, since most of the people who come here to talk about their keyboards, come to complain about problems. People whose phones work fine, tend not to bother logging into forums just to say so. Not to mention many BB users who don't read CB at all (shocking but true!). ;-)

    I've experienced double letter typing after 6 months roughly, but strangely enough (since I thought it was a hardware problem, still beleive it is) the double typing is not consistent, and tends to change after every OS leak or new official version I install!

    it's definitely not a major issue though, as autocorrect tends to correct it!

    Will Vote later. I have a Q10 from Verizon. No double typing issues. The poll would have faired better if like the earlier poster stated if the title was more generic. This title will attract those with double typing issue for sure and not so many without. But it's good idea to at least try something.

    Maybe the title should be edited to omit the word "drama"!

    Maybe the phrase "Win fabulous prizes" should be added.

    I'd thought any Q10 owner who is browsing the forum would stop in and perhaps vote. I suppose if I spam the Z10 and Z30 forums, I'll get more votes from people who don't use the Q10 anymore.

    At any rate, with 38 votes submitted, just over half have reported some kind of keyboard problem at some point.

    When you get a chance, log in on a regular PC (or use the BB10 browser), and vote. The CB10 app doesn't support polls.

    2.5 months. Sensitive 'T' key, lightly touching it will type. If it's tapped to type, it is double type or cap.

    I lost the first q10 that I bought and it was replaced by a refurbished replacement. I sent it back because of reception issues. As soon as the second unit arrived I noticed issues with some keys that were sticking. The return/enter key and the "$" keys seemed to be stuck together. I ignored the problem as I could not see myself sending it back. Then yesterday I noticed a piece of lint stuck between the keys. I removed the lint using a needle and the entire keyboard seems to be working fine now. The keys are no longer sticking to one another.

    I occasionally (not very often) have double typing and only with specific letters and almost always the vowels like A and O. I don't think I've ever had double typing with consonants.

    Not sure what happened or why but after my most recent update, I have started to experience the double typing. I don't know if this is a coincidence though. My Q10 is about 11 months old and I don't use it a lot (only when I need to type long emails/documents).

    Actually this poll is not very accurate as I was well on 6 months till I started seeing an issue. its the strangest thing when it does it I will get many letters double typed, mostly the a but others too. but then it can be great for a long time. Of course when I'm in a bit of a hurry and want a msg sent out then it will get me. So for now I have not ordered a new keyboard.

    I've had my Q10 since June last year and double typing issue has been occurring since the 10.2.1 update. The double-typing has now turned to TRIPLE-typing on some keys. No official apology or word from BlackBerry, they REALLY have got to get their sh** straight.
    Same story here--got it in June 2013 when it first came out. Started double typing after the first 10.2.1 updates. Still not real bad but absolutely there. Read a post from a hardware developer that said that it was actually a software problem with something referred to as a "debounce" (think that was the term) and it was not uncommon. Hopefully he is correct and the problem will be addressed by BB soon.
