    I was hoping this issue would be fixed when I updated to 10.2 on AT&T, but the problem still persists on my Q10. Basically what happens is that when I'm in the middle of a text convo at some point one of the texts I'm sending will get stuck in the sending state. And then if I send a text after that the new message will get stuck in the qued phased with the red clock icon. It usually takes at least 1 minute for the text to finally go through with the check mark icon. This may not seem like a long time, but it makes the conversation confusing because my text show up out of context. When my texts are working properly, they go sent(with the check icon) immediately after I press the send button. Anyone know why this occasional inconsistency happens when sending text messages?

    I've tried things to remedy it. I feel like if I open an app that uses the internet, facebook for example, after it loads all the way my texts will all a sudden go through. Not sure if this works everytime though.

    Any insight would be helpful. Thanks for reading.

    Talk to AT&T... Texts are usually last in the pecking order of sending info over cell lines...That's probably why the delay...

    Yep...I have been having the same issue on occasion as well. The text eventually goes through after a minute or two. I guess it's just a lag in the systems network.

    I would say nothing to get hung up about. I think it occasionally happens to everyone no matter the carrier or device.

    I have the same issue. Some of my txts don't even go through. Most of the time it goes through ok, but I have to check after I send a txt to make sure it's been sent.

    I use to work for a service provider and this issue maainly lies in the "switch" of the network handling text messages. You need to call tech support to have the feature reset on your account to refresh your account so that text messages don't get stuck in a loop.
