    Good morning. Since installing the 10.2 leak my wife's Bbm no longer works. I've also noticed she doesn't have the little bis icon up by her cellular and wifi connection indicators. Could this be related and what does it mean to not have the bis icon anymore?

    I'm on MTS and 10.2.0.429 (official) and also do not have the icon showing. Had it after the update for a while then lost it. Re booted and it came back. Lost it again this morning, tried several Re boots with no luck.

    Try going into Settings/About/Network. Click on the vertical ellipse ("...") in the bottom right corner and select "Register BlackBerry ". This re-registers your BB's PIN to the BlackBerry NOC for PIN-based services such as BBM. Worth a shot!

    Tried your suggestion, still no BBM or icon. Thanks for the help though. I may try side loading an older version of BBM tomorrow.

    Security wipe worked. It was a problem with reinstalling settings and app data from backup.

    Thanks for taking the time to reply back with your solution! Too often we don't hear the resolutions to these things on the forum. Makes it hard to use the common body of knowledge when there are problems but no resolutions.

    Hi, im from argentina and i have the very same problem. Installed the leaked os 10.2.1.1055 (wich works perfectly) and the BBM doesnt work, and bis icon doesnt apears neither. I tried wipe my z10 with the factory settings and it works! The bis icon returned and i was able to login into my BBM account.
    But the problem returned when i restored the security backup. Please anyone can help me? I have looking for everywhere without any Lucky (i also tried register in settings/about/network But neither solve the problem).
    P.S. Did i say please?

    Restoring tends to cause more problems than it solves. Try a security wipe, then reload the OS via autoloader, then don't restore.
