Battery is fully charged. Upon powering up, a black screen appears with a white image of a cell phone pointing (right) to an image of a usb connection pointing (right) to a desktop monitor. I can't get it to do anything else from this screen. It's obviously directing me to connect my phone to my desktop, but I don't understand why. It was functioning fine prior to the last few days. I'm so confused, which isn't difficult! Thanks for any help offered!

Uh-Oh it sounds like a corrupt OS. I was using a Q10 but i havent experienced this. Do you have Blackberry Link installed on your computer? I will look further into this online.

yes.. unfortunately im thinking your going to have to reload your OS with Blackberry Link.

Would like to try, but I'm not sure where to start. I just installed BlackBerry Link on my Mac. I did not have it before now.

Yes after you have downloaded Blackberry Link, connect the phone, to your laptop, open BlackBerry link and if it recognises your phone, you should see a prompt to reload the latest OS.
