I'm new here. Hello!
Before this I used Legacy Blackberry, then I tried WP and now Android.
After seeing the Q10 with BB OS10, I'm really keen to try BB again.
To do so I need your help to confirm some question to make sure I dont get stuck after making the move back to BB.
Sorry in advance if the question seem silly as I dont follow much on BB latest news.

1. Is the Q10 still up to date? I ask as the Passport is now out. So will the Q10 get the 10.3?
I just need to make sure I dont buy the Q10 and be obsolete in the near time.

2. How's the battery life as I'm a heavy user of text, email and web reading. Right now with my S4 I need to charge twice a day.

3. Can you guys help to confirm if this few apps I really need to use are available for Q10 :
a. email ; Gmail, IMAP Mail - can both this email get notification on the Hub?
b. whatsapp ; does this apps fully function with video and can deliver 10 photo in one time as in android?
also got notification in Hub?
c. skype ; fully function for msg, voice and video call? Hub notification?
d. shazam
e. youtube
f. Runtastic ; or any similar workout tracking apps?
g. Waze ; function well on Q10?

Hi, I have a Q10, and I don't see it becoming 'old' in at least 12 months. I know 10.3.1 is coming out and all will be fine and dandy again, for quite some time. The battery live gets better after each OS release.

Your apps I have no issues with. There are android apps you can sideload. I know BT LE is going to be supported when 10.3.1 releases officially end of year.

Other than that, good luck. Passport is not widely available.

2. I get over 15 hours a day easily
3. All emails work with hub including Gmail, hotmail and anything else
B. What's app works fine yes I'd say I prefer the bb10 version compared to iphone/android
C. Android port it's ok but BBM video/Voice is 100% better
D. Yes some available in BBW
E. Supertube/Fasttube/Native browser
F. Loads of fitness apps
G. Yes.....

There ya go. You can also get the Amazon Appstore.

Just make sure you are running 10.2.1 or later OS version. You can check by opening Settings --> About -> Software Release.
