    It drove me crazy when I first got my Q10. I was looking for the email icon all the time, forgetting that email was handles via the Hub. 10+ years with BB 4/5/6/7 devices trained me to do some things almost in my sleep. Once I got used to the Hub I found I preferred it to the old individual icon for email.

    Yea, I've noticed that pretty little function. I am expecting 10.2.1 to drop later this month or next month from my carrier.

    One source did say Jan 4th which is today
    I wouldn't hold my breathe. I'm suspecting more along the lines of Jan 23

    Don't believe any source unless is BlackBerry. I know that I've seen January at least for 10.2.1

    There is no messages icon. A swipe UP from the bottom will clearly show what type of message was received.

    There is a dedicated icon for Text Messages. I think that is what he is talking about.
