Read that any way you want. She/He could be wrong, but has been pretty bang on in the past.

So if your source is correct, we are looking at a L-Series availability on Jan 30th? March is "shortly after" (words of Thor).
Because I'm so excited by all the latest images floating around CB, I'm going to be optimistic and receptive to your source. I hope they are right.
They are launching BB10 on January 30th - the devices will be available shortly after, rumoured to be circa 30 days after the launch event
the L series wont be available on the 30th either. It will be made available within 30 days of Jan 30th and then a keyboard device shortly after that. March is no surprise at all. i would say March at the soonest actually
That makes sense launch the os on Jan 30th which is the second to last day of the month and February the l series and then march the n series
I hope RIM learns from Apple and launches BB10 on Wednesday, Jan 30th. Pre-orders go up right after the event or even on Friday morning. Then its delivered within two weeks on February 14th Valentines day. Apple uses the hype and excitement to increase early sales which translates into early word of mouth and because of features like BBM that create communities more people will buy shortly there after. Its a marketing game that requires good supply chain management.
I'm good with March. I just want to see some N series images at some point...not too soon, closer to launch works. I'm in no rush to retire my 9900.
I not only want to see the N series hardware come January 30th but I also want to see the OS running on it as well. With L series launching (for sale) in February it makes perfect sense that N would launch in March at the soonest. Nothing hard to believe with what your ex RIM employee friend is laying down. I'm sure March is the target date for RIM, heck there hasn't been a shred of evidence that N even exist as of right now. No pictures no apps in appworld (L has apps in appworld) nothing. March seems like the earliest for sure. When is this dev alpha C being issued??? Was it February I read?? Hmmmmmmm. 1+1=2
I love n-series from the leaked images...... :D
I agree with this.
They've hinted at surprises and maybe this is one of them. They may not generate the same kind of buzz that apple does (who does ?) but after all the delays I think it would be a huge deal if they said 'It's here right now, come get it', instead of an announcement that leads up to a release and then finally we can order them. It would certainly stick it to people who spend all their time ******** about how RIM is dying. With everything we've heard about BB10 even from the negative nancies that are most journalists, I can't see there being anything to complain about from the unveiling. So if there is a gap between announcement, even just the normal 30ish days, then you can count on them headlining their articles with 'RIM pushes back BB10 ANOTHER MONTH'. It's the nature of the business. I think that a the announcement followed by immediate launch would be the absolute best thing they could do. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but it'd be a good move.
I also don't know what to make of the N-series showing up in March. With only 4 weeks between the unveiling and it being 'march' that doesn't feel quite right to me unless they launch them both together. I mean, even if the L-series goes on sale immediately after the event, there would be almost no time between then and the N. And maybe thats good for us. But if they are pushing the L-series, which if they launch it as the flagship device, then having another device appear 6 weeks later would muddle that.
If we see the N-series before April, then I think they have to launch them both together. It's just the only way that it could make sense to me.
People are quick to forget and/or ignore that Apple's release dates for their products have not always been on the same day of announcement.... it took time for them to get to small announce/release gaps.

iPhone 5

No one remembers though when they had to wait for the good stuff. BlackBerry will most likely have a 30 day window until you can buy the devices. I assume that the usual analyst trolls will try to roast them over it but I'm hoping that the positive news will overshadow it and there will be tons of excitement! So... a March release date sounds right on the money, as I've stated in another thread with image proof:

Nice catch plazmic =)
Ummm yep, and even then it will ship in low quantities and only on limited carriers... the rest of us will have to wait until late spring/summer according to the Huffington Post. So I am stuck with this dumb *** iphone. I absolutely hate it. But my 9930 broke and it was out of warranty and I would have paid cash or use my upgrade. I was hoping it would be just a month or two that I would be stuck with it before I sell it and get the new BBerry which would have me breaking even on the whole ordeal but that's not looking to be the case.
le sigh.
I think you are reading far too much into that picture and I bet that the l-series will actually be available closer to 6th feb than to 6th march, albeit not from those carriers that are traditionally slower than others such as AT&T and similar.
