    Hi,

I recenly updated to the newest verion of OS via carrier OTA updat (OS version 10.2.1.3442) and my text messages are shown in hub, but when I switch to text messages in hub its empty. My friend on his Q10 has the same exact problem ...

Is there a solution for it? Only does it on Q10.. My Z30 works fine.

When you are in your hub, hit the three dots (More)>Settings>Hub Management>Text Messages. What do you see there? It's possible that you have "Show in Hub only" selected. Is that the issue?

Nope, It's set on both. I have 2 Q10s that's have the same exact problem. mine, and my friends. Strange thing that he is running an older os, and has a different carrier.

When I set it to show in separate account I don't see any messages either

    Works well here... (Q10SQN100-3/10.2.1.3442)
There is not a lot of settings that can do that (I've checked "Show in both").

Did you and you friend install an alternate viewer for the text message or a backup solution ?

I'm going to go even further. Posted this in a few threads now. No solution.

I am not getting notifications of texts and they aren't showing up in my hub. If I compose new message, select contact, then it will show new texts, but once I go back to hub there is no text conversation there. I've tried battery pull, toggle on/off mobile, deleting and re-adding a few contacts, nothing works. If I already had a conversation open with someone, those are working fine.

Did your issue happen following the last update ? What's your current OS ? Doesn't seem to be the same issue as OP though. Link the thread you opened on the subject so we can continue there.

By the way, don't do battery pull !!! (it's for BBOS, not BB10) Just push both the volume up and down buttons until restart, that's all !

Unfortunately, I am facing the same issue. I updated my BB Q10 recently to OS 10 and somehow all my text messages are lost; surprisingly, I can see a preview of them when I search after the names of persons from whom I had received messages but when I click on it, the window doesn't open and I can't read them. They also do no appear in the text messages section any more. Do anyone has a clue what's going on? Your help would be hihgly appreciated. Many thanks!

What OS are you running? You say 10, but they are all 10. 10.2.x or on a leak? And if on a leak, which one?

I read somewhere that the solution is to do a wipe of the phone.m, I haven't tried it yet, I need to use my q10 daily so as my friend, so maybe later.

I miss legacy protect. Just hit recovery on my bold 9900 and everything is there except photos.
