    Does anyone know why i would have received this message from the person I was texting? "message to 1905330---- succeeded". Obviously she didn't actually send it so I'm wondering what it means?

    Maybe a sort of delivery report?

    If it was a landline you sent it to by mistake, there is an automated system on some carriers that will call the landline and then read the message to them. Perhaps that is what happened.
