Don't go in the HUB it wont remove the miss call, on the main screen bottom left click the little phone icon, the phone menu comes up you'll see 3 tabs, ALL - MISSED - VVM

I just turned off the phone and powered back up and the message was cleared

I've gone into the phone app too but it does not change the status. Still shows 1 message. I have to delete it

This seems to be a bug in the OS...I experience the same problem with the OP I suppose. The issue is, a missed call cannot be made to appear as having "read" or "seen". It remains highlighted or in bold indicating that it has not been seen or read yet. Even if I have tried to call the caller, it remains in bold, and in the phone icon, there appears the number 1 if there is 1 missed call.

The question of the OP is how to make this missed call appear as not highlighted or not in bold after it has been seen or read.

I am on TMO US Q10 with .4200.

Just go into the main hub box, hold down on the line above the first message and choose mark prior as read. I used to have this same issue

I can confirm. Tapping the missed call in Hub then "Cancel" on the "Call?" prompt only removes the new red star, however the unread number (1) continues to display on Hub and Calls. I found the only way to clear the unread number on missed call is to Delete Prior in Hub or Calls.

what he said. opening the phone app will clear the missed calls. this has been a bug since day one.

they should make it so that tapping the notification in the hub opens the missed calls tab in the phone app. this would be more consistant with how text messaging works and be less confusing.

When I click mark all prior read in my main hub inbox it clears my missed call notifications.

DS1331 has the answer here. It is an odd bug. In the Hub go to Calls tab. Tap and hold the date for options and tap Mark Prior Read. There are simpler ways than rebooting the phone. Lol.

I've been doing that too, which is why I hadn't looked for help till now. Just seems like sucha ridiculous round about way to do it that there must be a more direct way. Thanks though

Yea it's a bug. Facebook notification have the same issue.
