    Hey BB family!

Had an issue today where my phone was just under 10% battery life, then, whilst just playing some music, a message popped up saying 'Switching Device Off' and then the phone restarted!

Once it had restarted, I then played another track on it and then the same thing happened again, until I got home and plugged my charger in

Has this happened to anyone else's Q10? (Running 10.2.1 in the UK) If so, any thoughts?

    Cheers!

That's the standard behaviour. Nothing to be converned with. You Q10 users are just NOT used to low battery scenarios!

I thought this wasn't supposed to be the case? Thought it was only supposed to happen on STL100-1's when they get that random battery reading problem

Has not happened to me but you should not be too surprised if your phone shuts off to low battery while playing music, and then it actually turns back on again but then you play music again?

No, that's a way to prevent battery damage by fully discharge. It happens between 10% and 5%. From what I've seen, if it goes on 10 or 5 depends on how fast the battery is draining. Too fast? Better turn it off on 10. But this is how my Z10 seems to behave, it should probably always go on 10%.

As a added early pre warning I set BatteryGuru to sound an alert when my battery gets to 20%.
I don't have your issue on my Q10, but I set it this way to start making my way to a charger.
